This is not a sit-behind-a-desk marketing role. You'll be out meeting local businesses, schools, and organizations, introducing them to our brand, and helping drive catering, events, and repeat orders. If you enjoy talking to people, taking initiative, and seeing the direct impact of your work on sales, this role is for you. What You'll Be Responsible For Community Outreach & Relationship Building Visit local businesses, offices, schools, and organizations to introduce our products and services Build relationships with decision-makers (office managers, admins, event planners, etc.) Create opportunities for catering orders, partnerships, and repeat business Sales & Catering Growth Generate new catering and bulk order opportunities Promote corporate gifting, celebrations, and event orders Follow up consistently to turn first-time customers into regulars Events & Local Presence Help coordinate and attend sampling events, pop-ups, and community activities Represent the brand at local events (some weekend availability required) Support in-store promotions that drive traffic and sales Marketing Support Assist with social media content and local promotions Help increase reviews and online engagement Distribute materials strategically to support business growth Tracking & Accountability Keep track of outreach, partnerships, and results Share weekly updates on activity and progress Stay focused on actions that drive revenue What We're Looking For Outgoing, friendly, and comfortable starting conversations Self-motivated and able to manage your time independently Organized and goal-oriented Comfortable with in-person outreach (this is a big part of the role) Positive attitude and team player Reliable transportation for local travel Nice to Have (But Not Required) Experience in sales, marketing, or customer service Background in food, catering, retail, or hospitality Experience working with local businesses or community groups Schedule & Pay Part-time role (15-25 hours/week) Monday-Friday with flexibility + occasional weekend events Starting at $21/hour Opportunities for bonuses and growth based on performance Why This Role is Different You'll see a direct connection between your work and store sales You'll build real relationships in the community You're not just "posting on social" — you're helping grow the business About Us At Nothing Bundt Cakes, we're known for our warm, welcoming environment and our commitment to bringing joy to our guests.
