Job Description

In-House Sales & Marketing Coordinator East Coast Nurseries - Long Island, NY East Coast Nurseries is a premier wholesale grower serving garden centers, re-wholesale nurseries, and horticultural professionals throughout the Northeast. We are looking for a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This position combines inside sales, customer service, order processing, and marketing, making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building customer relationships while helping grow our brand. Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with product availability, pricing, and general inquiries. Enter customer orders accurately and efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service by helping customers place orders, answer questions, and resolve issues. Support the outside sales team with quotes, order follow-up, and customer communications. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while assisting with new customer inquiries. Create and schedule social media content, email campaigns, and marketing materials. Develop plant spotlights, promotions, flyers, and other sales support materials. Assist with website updates and digital marketing initiatives. Coordinate trade shows, customer events, and promotional campaigns. Photograph nursery inventory and create engaging content showcasing our products. Help maintain customer records and sales data. Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, marketing, or administrative support. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Canva, Adobe, Mail Chimp, or similar marketing platforms is a plus. Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. Horticulture, nursery, or landscape industry experience is preferred but not required. Compensation & Benefits •
Compensation:
Compensation will match experience. • Paid Time Off (PTO): Starts at 2 weeks, with additional PTO increasing with tenure. •

Employee-paid medical plan offered. •
Retirement:
401(k) with 4% company match. •
Holidays:

Pay:
From $75,000.00 per year
