Marketing Team Member Job Description We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as a member of the Marketing Team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the success and smooth execution of offsite sales events and helping with Marketing to the community. There are opportunities to learn in-bakery positions as well. This position also includes opportunities to earn commission. Must be willing to use personal vehicle for traveling to and from events and bakeries.
Responsibilities:
As a Marketing Team Member, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Complete the setup and teardown of event spaces, including arranging product, decorations, and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service to customers
- Work closely with Marketing Manager to ensure events run smoothly
- Maintain a clean and organized event space, ensuring all areas are tidy and presentable.
- Maintains strong product knowledge to educate customers on NbC cake distinction, size and flavor profile options, pricing, and special promotions
- Processes guest orders efficiently and accurately utilizing point-of-sale system and invites guests to join NbC Email Club to benefit from special promotions and remain connected.
- Complies with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.
- Maintains a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate for the Event Staff position should meet the following requirements:
- Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle stressful situations with composure.
- Driver's License and ability to personal vehicle to and from bakeries and events.
Work Availability:
- Weekend availability is a must. Most events are during the weekend. We are looking for someone who is open to working weekly recurring events such as Farmers Markets and/or special events.
- 1-2 event shifts per week with 8-15 hours
- More shifts may be available for marketing events or if you are interested in learning other in-bakery positions
