Job Description

Marketing Coordinator Job Summary The Marketing Coordinator supports the marketing and communications efforts of JCCMW by coordinating projects, creating engaging content, maintaining digital platforms, and ensuring timely promotion of programs, events, classes, and organizational initiatives. This role works collaboratively with staff across all departments to help strengthen community engagement, increase program participation, and advance the mission of JCCMW.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations:
  • Coordinate marketing projects from request through completion.
  • Create and edit content for email, website, social media, print, and digital marketing materials.
  • Maintain the JCCMW website using WordPress.
  • Build email marketing campaigns through Constant Contact.
  • Assist with social media planning, scheduling, and monitoring.
  • Work with staff to develop communications strategies for programs and events.
  • Capture photos and videos of programs, events, and patrons for use in marketing and promotional materials.
  • Research and identify community outreach and partnership opportunities to increase awareness and participation in JCCMW programs.
  • Support public relations efforts, including press releases and media outreach.
  • Represent the JCCMW at local community events, festivals, farmers markets, and other outreach opportunities.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends on a (limited) as-needed basis is required.
  • Ability to work on an occasional evening and weekends based on business needs. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 1-2 years of marketing or communications experience
  • Excellent writing, editing, organizational, and project management skills
  • Experience with WordPress, Constant Contact, social media (Meta Business), Canva, and Google Workspace
  • Experience with Google Analytics is a plus
  • Graphic design experience is a plus Skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Creative, organized, flexible, and collaborative, with a positive attitude
Salary:
$58,000-$60,000 per year Physical Requirements The physical demands that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job include movement within an office environment. The role requires the ability to write by hand and use a keyboard to perform general office functions. Also requires the ability to communicate by speech and hearing continuously. Visual acuity is needed for detailed work, and computer use. The ability to sit for extended periods of time is also a requirement.
