Job Description

The Ohio Center for Oral, Facial & Implant Surgery is seeking an experienced, professional, and outgoing team member to join our practice in a unique role that combines patient coordination, front office support, marketing, and event planning . This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, providing exceptional customer service, organizing events, and helping grow a successful specialty practice. We are looking for a candidate with prior dental or healthcare office experience who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow with our team. Position Overview The Patient Care Coordinator, Marketing & Events Coordinator serves as an important connection between our patients, referring offices, and community partners. This individual will support daily front-office operations while helping coordinate marketing initiatives and events that strengthen our practice relationships and community presence. ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & Front Office Duties Welcome and assist patients with a friendly and professional attitude Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries Schedule consultations, surgeries, and follow-up appointments Verify insurance benefits and assist with patient financial discussions Coordinate referrals and communicate with referring dental offices Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Assist with treatment plan presentation and patient follow-up Support daily administrative operations and office workflow Provide exceptional customer service and patient experience Marketing & Event Coordination Duties Build and maintain relationships with referring dental offices Coordinate referral visits and appreciation events Assist with planning community outreach programs and practice events Organize lunch-and-learns and educational presentations Assist with social media content creation and scheduling Coordinate patient testimonials, photos, and promotional materials Track marketing efforts and referral activity Represent the practice professionally at networking and community events Assist leadership with marketing initiatives and practice growth strategies QualificationsRequired Minimum 2 years of dental, oral surgery, orthodontic, medical, or healthcare office experience Strong customer service and communication skills Professional appearance and demeanor Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn new software Reliable transportation for occasional marketing visits and events Preferred Oral surgery or dental specialty office experience Marketing, social media, or event planning experience Experience with insurance verification and treatment coordination Knowledge of dental practice management software What We're Looking For The ideal candidate: Is outgoing and enjoys building relationships Thrives in a fast-paced environment Is highly organized and detail-oriented Has excellent communication skills Is proactive and self-motivated Enjoys both administrative work and community engagement Is willing to learn new skills and take initiative Values teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional patient care Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Performance and growth incentives Paid time off Paid holidays Continuing education opportunities Employee discounts on services Career growth opportunities Schedule Full-Time Monday - Friday 7:45-5 Occasional early morning, evening, or community events may be required.
