Position Summary The Marketing Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between Colonial House, referral sources, community partners, and the populations we serve. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with community stakeholders, increasing awareness of Colonial House services, supporting census growth, coordinating marketing initiatives, and promoting organizational events and fundraising efforts. The Marketing Coordinator must possess knowledge of the behavioral health and social service systems and demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate agency services to clients, families, providers, and community organizations. This position requires occasional local and regional travel to community meetings, provider agencies, and marketing events. Mileage and approved travel expenses are reimbursable in accordance with agency policy. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Community Relations and Business Development 1. Serve as the primary liaison between Colonial House and community organizations, healthcare providers, referral sources, funding entities, and other stakeholders. 2. Develop and maintain positive relationships with referral sources to support ongoing admissions and program growth. 3. Identify and pursue opportunities to expand referral networks and increase community engagement. 4. Schedule and conduct outreach meetings with hospitals, treatment providers, government agencies, criminal justice partners, and community organizations. 5. Represent Colonial House at community events, health fairs, provider meetings, networking events, and public forums. 6. Attend county and regional committee meetings as a representative of Colonial House. 7. Assist with establishing and maintaining service agreements, referral partnerships, and collaborative relationships with outside agencies. 8. Collaborate with Single County Authorities (SCAs) and other funding entities to maintain existing relationships and develop new contractual opportunities. 9. Continuously identify and recommend opportunities for organizational growth, service expansion, and community partnerships. Marketing and Communications 10. Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase awareness of Colonial House programs and services. 11. Maintain and regularly update agency social media platforms and digital marketing content. 12. Create promotional materials, community outreach resources, and marketing communications consistent with agency branding. 13. Promote agency programs, fundraising initiatives, special events, and community activities through multiple communication channels. 14. Coordinate the annual Open House and other agency-sponsored marketing and community engagement events. 15. Monitor marketing efforts and provide recommendations for improving community outreach and visibility. Fundraising and Donor Relations 16. Assist with promoting fundraising events and campaigns. 17. Maintain positive relationships with current and prospective donors. 18. Support donor engagement activities and community outreach efforts that promote agency sustainability. Admissions Support 19. Facilitate communication between referral sources and agency staff to support a smooth referral and admissions process. 20. Assist referral sources and community members in understanding Colonial House services, eligibility requirements, and admission procedures. 21. Support efforts to maintain target census levels for agency programs through effective outreach and relationship management. Position Objectives 1. Support agency efforts to maintain optimal census levels within inpatient and outpatient treatment programs. 2. Increase community awareness and utilization of Colonial House services. 3. Establish and maintain productive relationships with referral sources, community partners, and funding entities. 4. Ensure professional, ethical, and effective communication both internally and externally. 5. Demonstrate knowledge of agency policies, procedures, and treatment services. 6. Promote a positive image of Colonial House throughout the community. Contribute to the agency's strategic growth and sustainability through effective marketing and business development activities.
Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or GED Equivalent 2. Valid Driver's License 3. Previous Experience w/Marketing and/or Community Relations (preferred but not required) 4. Excellent organization, oral, and written skills 5. Basic computer skills
Work Location/Environment:
The position will be housed in our 1300 Woodberry Road office. This position will involve travel to other worksites and visits to referral sources, which are located throughout the state. Mileage reimbursement is offered if company transportation is not available.
