Job Description
The Assistant Regional Director for Jani-King serves as the co-manager of the regional office assisting with building a winning team, selling franchises, providing franchise training, new business development, customer retention, and financial management to create a profitable operation. The office personnel must be led by example for the successful motivation of the team to accomplish franchise sales, contract sales and customer retention. It is the Assistant Regional Director's duty to act as the Regional Director in their absence. The following are the basic responsibilities of the
Assistant Regional Director:
1. Read, review and understand the FDD (Federal Disclosure Document.) 2. Read, review and understand the Franchise Agreement. 3. Read, review and understand the Policies and Procedures. 4. Learn the FDD presentation and begin new franchise development by handling franchise inquiry calls to disclosure to follow up to close. 5. Learn how to create the documents necessary for a franchise purchase. 6. Learn how to manage the Sales Department becoming familiar with the responsibilities of the Account Executive, Sales Assistant, and Regional Secretary. 7. Become knowledgeable in the theory of bidding cleaning accounts and be able to describe pricing to franchisees for business offering. 8. Develop new customers by maintaining a monthly portfolio of greater than $30,000 in outstanding proposals and closing 20% of that portfolio. 9. Learn how to manage the Operations Department becoming familiar with the responsibilities of the Operations Manager, Operations Assistant, Customer Service Representative, and Regional Secretary. 10. Manage customer retention by conducting franchise training, franchise support, and on site customer service 11. Conduct 40 inspections monthly, logging results on the web app and reviewing with franchisees. 12. Learn to competently manage and maintain the web application for sales and operations. 13. Become proficient at and knowledgeable in franchise accounting. 14. Take and pass the New Franchise Training Course. 15. Become proficient in all aspects of the cleaning industry. 16. Become a Certified Franchise Trainer. 17. Assist franchisees during on site start-ups. 18. Occasionally moves equipment up to 50 pounds throughout office for cleaning and display. 19. Occasionally ascends/descends stairs. 20. Other duties as assigned by the Regional Director or ownership or that may become necessary to successfully manage or operate a Jani-King Regional Office.
