This position provides hands-on experience in healthcare, community outreach, marketing, and professional relationship-building while supporting our mission to move medicine forward through inclusive, community-based clinical research. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student, recent graduate, or early-career professional interested in healthcare, public health, marketing, communications, or clinical research. The position offers real-world experience through community events, physician office outreach, Lunch & Learns, study recruitment campaigns, and the development and distribution of marketing materials. The ideal candidate is outgoing, creative, dependable, and eager to learn. No previous clinical research experience is required. We are looking for someone who is comfortable meeting new people, enjoys being active in the community, brings fresh ideas to the table, and wants an opportunity to develop valuable professional skills while contributing to work that positively impacts community health. This position may also be structured as a paid internship for a qualified college student seeking practical experience and potential academic credit. Primary Responsibilities Community Outreach & Engagement Represent Biocentric Health Research Center at community health events, Lunch & Learns, and educational programs. Build and maintain strong relationships with local healthcare providers, community organizations, and patient advocacy groups. Coordinate the distribution of study materials (flyers, brochures, banners) to local clinics and referral partners. Organize and track community-based recruitment efforts, outreach visits, and engagement outcomes. Collaborate with the Marketing & Social Media team to share community stories, photos, and outreach highlights for online and print content. Administrative & Reporting Support Maintain accurate and timely documentation of outreach visits, partnership communications, and business leads. Contribute to monthly and quarterly reports summarizing community engagement and business development progress. Support grant-related community initiatives and other special projects as needed. Build and maintain strong relationships with local healthcare providers, community organizations, and patient advocacy groups. Coordinate the distribution of study materials (flyers, brochures, banners) to local clinics and referral partners. Organize and track community-based recruitment efforts, outreach visits, and engagement outcomes. Collaborate with the Marketing & Social Media team to share community stories, photos, and outreach highlights for online and print content. Requirements High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Business, Marketing, or Communications preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to connect across diverse audiences. Experience in community outreach, sales, marketing, or business development is strongly preferred. Confident public speaker with the ability to present Biocentric's mission and services to providers and community partners. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning CRM or outreach tracking tools. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally for community and business meetings. Self-motivated with a passion for health equity, research, and community advancement.
