Job Description

We offer solutions and seek to help industry professionals make informed, intelligent decisions to strategically improve their position in today's challenging business environment. Our mission is to provide an objective, independent perspective on new and emerging practices from across the energy industry by offering quality professional development opportunities that encourage dialogue and help spread best practices. We are seeking a highly organized and commercially driven Conference Sponsorship Associate to support the growth and execution of sponsorship revenue across our portfolio of industry events. This role partners closely with sales, marketing, and production teams to deliver high-value sponsor experiences while driving long-term partnerships. Key Responsibilities Sponsorship Sales Support Identify qualified prospective clients and develop loyal customer relationships Support sponsorship sales efforts, including prospecting, outreach, and pipeline management Make effective telephone presentations to prospective clients, clearly communicating the competitive advantage that attending/sponsoring our conferences will bring to their businesses Maintain professional standards in marketing, sales & customer service Develop and update sponsorship packages, pricing, and proposal materials Assist in drafting customized sponsorship proposals and contracts Track leads, opportunities, and revenue targets within CRM systems Sponsor Relationship Management Serve as a point of contact for sponsors from onboarding through post-event delivery Manage sponsor deliverables to ensure all contractual benefits are executed on time Coordinate sponsor communications, timelines, and expectations across departments Identify opportunities to improve sponsorship offerings and increase value Event Execution Work with production and marketing teams to deliver sponsor activations Troubleshoot sponsor issues before and during events to ensure a seamless experience Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in events, sponsorship sales, partnerships, or marketing Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Commercial mindset with an interest in sales and client-facing work Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Preferred Attributes Experience in conferences, trade shows, or B2B events Strong stakeholder management and client service orientation Ability to balance relationship-building with revenue goals Highly proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented Benefits of the Role Exposure to major industry players and senior decision-makers Opportunity to grow into sponsorship sales or partnerships roles Fast-paced, collaborative environment with visible impact on event success
