Marketing, Events & Design Coordinator - Restaurant About Rocco's Italian Kitchen Rocco's Italian Kitchen is a lively, independently owned Italian restaurant and wine & martini bar in Bradenton known for its warm atmosphere, vibrant patio, live entertainment, and strong community following. We combine classic Italian comfort food with an energetic social atmosphere that includes live music, dance nights, bingo, trivia, special events, and an active patio dining experience. We are highly event-driven and community-oriented, with a strong focus on hospitality, guest experience, visual presentation, and creative promotion. We are constantly evolving with new events, menu features, entertainment, and marketing ideas, and we're looking for someone who enjoys being part of a fast-moving, hands-on, creative environment. Rocco's Italian Kitchen is looking for a creative, organized, hands-on Marketing, Events & Design Coordinator to help manage our restaurant marketing, print materials, in-house signage, event promotion, and community outreach. This is a great role for someone who has strong design skills, understands social media and local marketing, and enjoys getting out into the community.
Pay Range:
$18-$22 per hour based on experienceHours:
Approximately 10-20 hours per week to start, with flexibility and potential for growth for the right person.Responsibilities include:
Updating menus and marketing materials using InDesign or similar design software Creating and updating flyers, brochures, table cards, event signs, yard signs, and in-house signage Coordinating regular announcements for restaurant events, specials, dance nights, live music, bingo, trivia, and promotions Coordinating updates and posts across platforms including social media, email marketing, text marketing, website promotions, and third-party marketing tools Working with marketing platforms/vendors such as Boostly, Restaurant Growth, Chowly, website teams, and SEO providers Coordinating and managing outside marketing and SEO vendors to ensure promotions, events, website updates, and campaigns are implemented correctly and consistently Attending online vendor/platform meetings when needed and helping organize action items Making sure event information is distributed clearly and consistently across all channels Hands-on community marketing efforts, including flyer distribution, local outreach, event promotion, and relationship-building with nearby businesses and organizations Helping promote events in the community by distributing brochures/flyers to HOAs, condo communities, apartment complexes, farmers markets, local businesses, and other groups Keeping marketing materials organized and up to date Helping develop simple promotional campaigns to bring more guests into the restaurant Ideal candidate: Has experience with InDesign, Canva, Adobe, or similar design tools Can update menus and print materials without needing to outsource every change Is organized, detail-oriented, and good at follow-through Is comfortable coordinating multiple marketing platforms and outside vendors Has good writing and communication skills Is comfortable doing local community outreach in person Understands restaurants, events, hospitality, or local business marketing Can take direction but also work independently and stay organized without constant supervision This position requires both creative design ability and practical follow-through. The coordinator will work directly with the owner and help organize, coordinate, and execute ongoing marketing efforts across multiple platforms and vendors. We need someone who can take information — such as a new event date, menu change, promotion, or special — and make sure it is reflected everywhere it needs to be: flyers, signs, website, social media, email, text marketing, and community outreach.
