Salary of $35,000 a year, plus monthly commissions Health and dental benefits available Mileage reimbursement Flexible schedule The ideal candidate's job responsibilities will include: Achieving personal sales goals Executing our sales strategy Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, which includes providing customer service when necessary Helping clients develop creative print and digital advertising strategies to help them achieve their sales goals Selling advertising into a variety of print and digital spaces Prospecting new business and clients Traveling to local businesses to meet with clients Job requirements: 1 to 2 years of sales experience preferred Strong communication skills Must be comfortable selling advertising for print and digital products Ability to confidently use or learn how to use analytics to interpret digital ad results for clients Must be highly motivated and able to work independently Strong attention to detail Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license Must have effective organization and account management skills Computer and technology skills preferred Knowledge of social media platforms' advertising functions preferred Sun Chronicle is an equal opportunity employer.
