Winchester Time Commitment:
35 hours weekly
Requirements:

Job Description:
  • 2-4 months In-Bakery Training (Gainesville and Manassas Locations) as Joy Creator and Crafter (3-5 shifts weekly) to learn culture, guest engagement expectations, vocabulary, in-bakery operations, decorations, coupons, and other offerings; how event planning/support as well as social media engagement/support is conducted; establish relationships with Managers and Joy Creators who will work events with you.

  • Utilize the Brand Marketing Planning Calendar (updated quarterly) and Territory Maps to identify businesses/schools by geographic local and create weekly marketing plans.
Create Marketing Plan for each business category: schools, realtors, medical/dental, winery/brewery, event centers, large businesses, small businesses, any other relevant categories you discover.
Tailored plans may include:
school visits call ahead and take samples to connect with PTO/boosters to sell at events, medical/dental take Bundtinis and recommend referral gifting, Realtors call ahead to know when they are meeting together and bring Home Sweet Home deco cake as sample client gift, Wineries take Bundtinis and recommend pairings, etc (determining for all when to email, call, distribute coupons/print materials, how often to get cake in mouth). While distributing cake, collect contact information and seek to gain invitations to events or sign new and recurring business orders. Follow up via email or a phone call with 2 days of your visit and re-state our partnering ideas. All contact information should be input into a directory to avoid redundancy.
  • Attend community and business chamber events to give Samples and Coupons and sell cake when appropriate.
Off-Site Sales:
Identify locations (businesses/events) in our territories Register or seek permission for pop-up sales Take branded tent, and all necessary materials and cake and sell!
    Social Media Postings:
    3 posts per week, per bakery (2-4 total) to Facebook via SoCi platforms to include: Community events we are attending/hosting, Successful Fundraisers we have hosted, Beautiful Weddings Community engagement: regular drawings for free cake give-aways Original content created in-bakery FOH or at events and with bakery teams Plan to spend 5 hours per week per bakery Soci account
      Collaboration:
      Submit plans to bakery managers via email by Monday, 15-30 min One-on-Ones (via phone on Monday is great) with management to download from previous week and collaborate for the coming week: emails/orders/events that need to go in our system/calendar, which category/area to target, plan amount/type of cake needed for the coming week…orders put in under your name for marketing/donation), and accountability to track bonus progress. Compensation
      • $18 per hour
      • Bonus structure: 5% of sales at offsite sales you work 2% of sales at offsite sales you schedule buy do not work 5% of new B2B orders placed (receipts submitted every 2 weeks) Annual Bonus 10% of your earnings achievement based: Sales increased from previous 6 months at least 3%, tracked semi-annually, Facebook followers increased monthly 50+
      • Milage reimbursement based on rate set by the
      IRS:
      72.5 cents per mile. This applies to marketing visits made to local businesses within 10 miles of each bakery and driving to offsite sales (does not apply to standard commute to and from bakery from home; must be tracked and submitted every 2 weeks).
      Pay:
      $33,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
