MEDIA AND CONFERENCE SALES AND PROMOTION EXCEPTIONAL OPPORTUNITY
The newly expanded, leading U.S. and international risk-centered media serving risk managers, risk financers, and corporate and government buyers of commercial insurance and workers compensation is seeking leadership-level sales executives for conference, advertising, and promotional roles. Position Overview:
Business Insurance is looking for experienced Conference, Digital, Print Advertising, and "Intelligence" sales professionals. National and some international sales. Some travel. Fluency in ad agency and digital processes is an advantage, and additional training is available.
Responsibilities:
The role includes, but is not limited to, the following duties: Build relationships with prospective and existing clients. Study clients' products/services to match media and programs to their goals yielding revenue opportunities. Meet with clients to present advertising opportunities. Attend sales meetings, trade shows, and Business Insurance & WorkCompCentral events as required. Collaborate with staff to provide polished recommendations on strategies for client enlistment and retention. Prepare presentations for clients.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of direct account engagement in a serious, professional, higher-level B2B or B2C sales environment. Demonstrated ability to source and communicate with prospects to create pipelines. Proven track record of aggregating and closing sales contracts. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of an agile sales team. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with sound organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of corporate marketers and agencies. Excellent Microsoft Office skills. Bachelor's degree or higher and/or relevant applicable business experience.
Working Conditions:
Position allows for hybrid remote work.
Salary:
