Job Description

Company Overview The Sheffield Group was established in 1993 to serve the members of The Sheffield Fund. Over the years, we have grown into one of the leading Workers' Compensation providers in our region, leveraging a team of dedicated professionals who excel at managing accounts of all sizes—from small, minimum-premium policies to complex, large-scale coverage. Our focus on Workers' Compensation allows us to deliver exceptional service and expertise to our members. We are looking for a Marketing Representative for our South Alabama Region. You must live in the assigned territory of Baldwin County or Mobile County or be willing to relocate.
Responsibilities:
Develop growth opportunities with current and new agencies through strong execution of sales, marketing, relationship building, customer service & product knowledge Responsible for sales production through Insurance Agents in assigned territory Provide ongoing feedback on business market opportunities, obstacles, and competitor activity Proactively responds to issues and problems that affect business production Participates in conventions, social activities, and business functions Travel is required daily within your assigned territory with some overnight travel and after hours events
Desired Skills:
Excellent communication and organizational skills Highly motivated and self-disciplined with the ability to work effectively with little or no supervision Must be reliable, professional and well-spoken as well as demonstrate good judgment Must be technology proficient Bachelor's Degree & 3 plus years of commercial insurance experience preferred marketing/sales experience preferred
