Apple Spice is looking for an energetic sales rep to talk up our awesome catering and box lunch menu and delivery services. Our customer base ranges from small to large businesses, churches, schools and other organizations. Not only do we focus on serving exceptional food but providing exceptional service is equally important.

Job Type:

Outside Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Sales Presentation Hours:

Typically, 8am to 4pm. Monday-Friday. Potentially Monday-Thursday.

Compensation:

$40,000 to $63,000 salary based on experience and schedule.

Required Experience:

Kitchen and/or Food Preparation Experience Strongly Preferred.

Vehicle Requirements:

Presentable and dependable vehicle with Collision/Liability Insurance required.

Our Sales Strategy is simple:

Canvas, Cultivate and Nurture.

Typical activities include:

• Make menu packets and goodie bags (mini loaves of bread and cookies) for marketing purposes.
• Track geographical areas for marketing
• Make 10 to 20 marketing contacts per day
• Visit potential customers to drop off menus and goodie bags (cold calls)
• Do tastings with potential customers
• Provide quotes for customers
• Do call backs on deliveries from each day's sales
• Write Thank You notes to customers
• Follow up and build relationships with customers
• Identify future customer catering needs and show how we can help make their events successful
• Correct customer service issues
• Do email and social media blasts.
• Assist with social media management.
• Correctly document all customer service contacts in HubSpot
• Communicate with manager about tastings and about marketing logistics
• Any other job tasks as directed by the manager Food Service and/or Sales experience is strongly preferred.

Must have an outgoing personality, act and dress professionally, and feel comfortable interacting and working with potential customers. High School diploma or GED is required. Must possess the drive to close the sale while keeping the customers' needs and interest in the forefront. A valid driver's license, good driving history and a clean, reliable, insured vehicle are required for the sales visits. Reimbursed for fuel. Occasional use of company vehicles when available.
