Job Description
Position will start ASAP. RocketCert is a rapidly growing online education company, and we're adding another full-time position to the marketing team. This person will work directly with the Marketing Director, focusing mainly on RocketCert's social media, content creation, and social listening, while also helping with SEO, website content, email campaigns, design, and other marketing projects. We're looking for someone who can learn quickly, adapt as tools and strategies change, and isn't afraid to ask questions to get the job done right. While some familiarity with social media and digital tools is helpful, this is an entry-level position, and we'll provide the training needed to grow into the role. The right candidate will be able to: Work well with a team and stay organized across multiple projects. Write clearly and communicate naturally across different platforms. Create and edit graphics, short-form video, and other digital content. Research unfamiliar topics and find reliable information. Learn new tools and processes quickly as platforms and strategies change. Pay close attention to details while still keeping projects moving. Use basic HTML tags or be willing to learn. Work independently when needed and ask questions when something isn't clear. Familiarity with Canva, social media scheduling tools, website content management, SEO, or email marketing is helpful, but not required. In the first few weeks, the candidate will work directly with the Marketing Director to: Learn RocketCert's brand, products, audiences, and the industries we serve. Get familiar with our social channels, content calendar, and existing social strategy. Learn the marketing tools and systems we use day to day. Review current social, email, SEO, and other marketing campaigns. Learn the front and back-end systems of the website and begin making basic content updates. Begin creating social content and participating in ongoing marketing projects. Once they are acquainted with the role, the daily responsibilities of this position will be: Plan, create, schedule, and maintain content across RocketCert's social channels. Monitor and respond to comments and conversations around our content. Find and participate in relevant conversations on Reddit, Facebook, and other online communities where RocketCert can provide useful information. Monitor industry conversations, competitors, and trends for new content ideas and opportunities. Review social performance and use those results to help improve future content. Create and manage boosted posts and other social campaigns. Assist with SEO, website updates, email campaigns, and landing pages. Create graphics and materials for digital and print marketing campaigns. Research licensing changes, competitors, industry trends, and other opportunities that could impact our marketing. While the marketing department is small, this position will interact directly with people throughout the company. Our open office allows us to collaborate in real time, share ideas, and help other departments as needed. Ideally, this position will give the right person the opportunity to build a broad range of marketing skills and grow into a larger role within the company.
