POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator is an integral member of the Abe's Garden Community marketing team, reporting directly to the Marketing and Communications Manager. This role is responsible for supporting and assisting in the execution of marketing and communications initiatives that promote the mission, services, and programs of all Abe's Garden entities.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborates closely with the Marketing Manager and engages with all Abe's Garden departments to create and deliver content across multiple platforms, enhancing brand visibility and supporting organizational marketing goals. Assists in creating newsletters, email campaigns, and other marketing collateral. Creates and manages content delivery across Abe's Garden Community social media profiles. Coordinates photo and video shoots, including coverage of resident engagement activities.
Assists with:
website updates copywriting/editing/proofing identifying relevant opportunities to promote AGC (awards, conferences, etc.) Acts as primary contact for printer vendors and oversees vendor relations. Manages multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met. Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferred or experience equivalent Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat Proficiency in graphic design and experience with design programs (Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud/InDesign/Illustrator) Experience in content creation (writing, editing, design) for print and digital platforms Experience managing social media content and best practices Knowledgeable in social media management and scheduling tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or Buffer). Experience editing web content in WordPress or similar platform; familiarity with SEO is a plus Experience with creating and sending email campaigns via Constant Contact or similar platforms Working knowledge in photography and basic video editing
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to sit / stand for 8 hours. Walking, bending, light lifting up to 50 lbs. Abe's Garden Community is an equal opportunity employer.
