DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will help drive ticket sales, merchandise revenue, and fan engagement by creating data-driven marketing campaigns across digital and social media platforms. This role is sales-focused, with an expectation to understand analytics, optimize campaigns, and meet measurable sales goals while building Locomotive's digital presence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, schedule, and execute social media and digital campaigns across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.). Create compelling content (graphics and video) that drives fan engagement and ticket/merchandise sales. Collaborate with the Marketing, Ticketing, Retail, and Corporate Partnership teams to design digital sales campaigns that meet revenue goals. Collaborate with the VP of Business Strategy to track, analyze, and report on digital campaign performance using analytics tools. Optimize campaigns based on data insights to maximize ROI. Manage paid digital advertising campaigns (social media ads, Google ads, etc.). Assist with e-newsletters, website updates, and other digital communications to drive lead generation for sales teams. Support gameday and event operations by capturing live content and promoting ticket/merchandise offers. Stay current on social media and digital marketing trends and track KPIs to enhance revenue and brand strategies. Pitch creative concepts and contribute to Promotions & Marketing meetings for digital series, social content themes, and brand campaigns. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred. One year of experience in digital marketing, social media, or sales. Strong knowledge of social media platforms, digital ad tools, and analytics platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Creative mindset with attention to detail and brand consistency. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret performance metrics. Highly motivated, sales-driven, and goal-oriented. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience with paid advertising campaigns (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads). Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. Familiarity with CRM systems (such as Salesforce) and email marketing platforms. Video editing or motion graphics skills are a plus.
