Job Description
Admiral Nimitz Foundation Organization Founded in 1971 as a 501(c)(3), the Foundation since 2005, in an agreement with the Texas Historical Commission, manages and provides financial support to the State-owned National Museum of the Pacific War to:
- Educate present and future generations about World War II in the Pacific and the continued global relevance of its lessons;
- Use the Collection to provide programs that inspire and educate;
- Enhance and maintain the quality of the National Museum of the Pacific War and its grounds;
- Provide resources to accomplish the Foundation's vision and mission; and,
- Enhance constituency and community engagement.
- Plan, execute, and optimize paid digital campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Google, and other advertising channels
- Manage campaign budgets, targeting, creative testing, and performance optimization
- Monitor campaign performance and make real-time adjustments to improve results
- Coordinate campaign launches aligned with exhibitions, events, and seasonal initiatives Analytics & Reporting
- Track and analyze performance across digital channels, including ads, website traffic, and user behavior
- Maintain dashboards and provide regular reports on KPIs such as reach, engagement, conversions, and ROI
- Use insights to inform strategy and improve future campaigns
- Assist in forecasting and identifying growth opportunities Social Media Management
- Plan, schedule, and manage content across social media platforms
- Develop engaging, platform-appropriate content including captions, short-form video direction, and campaign messaging
- Monitor comments, messages, and engagement trends
- Collaborate on content creation with internal teams Email Marketing (Eblasts)
- Build, schedule, and deploy email campaigns
- Segment audiences and support list management efforts
- Assist with A/B testing subject lines, content, and send strategies
- Track performance metrics and recommend improvements Website & Digital Presence
- Assist with website updates, landing pages, and campaign integration
- Ensure consistency across digital touchpoints
- Support SEO efforts and content optimization Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, public relations, business, or a related field preferred. Relevant professional experience may be considered in place of formal education.
- At least one year of professional experience in marketing, communications, social media, advertising, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts and creating content for multiple platforms.
- Familiarity with paid digital advertising platforms, such as Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads preferred but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and platforms.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues across departments.
- Interest in the Foundation's mission and the ability to communicate historical and educational content in an engaging and accessible way.
- Able to lift 35 lbs. and manage equipment transport/set up independently
- Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends as required.
