Job Description

The Opportunity We are looking for an energetic, creative, and highly organized Marketing Coordinator who enjoys working with people and turning ideas into action. This is not a behind-the-scenes-only marketing position. You will interact with employees, company leaders, vendors, customers, and creative partners while helping coordinate content, events, merchandise, campaigns, and marketing materials across our growing portfolio of companies. The right person is naturally outgoing, comfortable approaching people, and confident, bringing energy to photo shoots, videos, events, and collaborative projects. You should enjoy building relationships, keeping people engaged, and following up to ensure projects move from conversation to completion. If you are the kind of person who can energize a room, organize the details, and make sure the final product looks great, this role may be a strong fit for you. Key Responsibilities Content Production and Creative Direction Capture engaging photo and video content featuring employees, customers, events, products, and company initiatives. Help employees and other participants feel comfortable and energized while appearing on camera. Confidently approach people throughout the organization to identify stories and content opportunities. Provide direction to the Content Creator regarding editing, messaging, visual style, and campaign objectives. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh, creative content ideas. Review final content to ensure it is polished, engaging, and aligned with the intended brand. Marketing Content Coordination Coordinate social media content, blog posts, email campaigns, press releases, internal communications, and promotional materials. Work with employees and leaders across the organization to gather stories, updates, images, and other content. Maintain content calendars, project timelines, and campaign deadlines. Follow up with stakeholders to obtain information, feedback, and approvals. Help ensure marketing content is completed and ready for publication on schedule. Media and Design Support Assist with creating flyers, brochures, presentations, digital graphics, signage, and other branded materials. Collaborate with graphic designers, copywriters, content creators, and marketing partners. Review materials for accuracy, visual appeal, and brand consistency. Make basic updates and edits using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms. Bring ideas and personality to creative discussions while remaining open to feedback. Marketing Packages and Collateral Help develop and maintain marketing packages for company products, services, campaigns, and initiatives. Coordinate with different departments to understand their marketing needs and recommend appropriate materials. Organize digital and physical marketing assets so they are current and easy to access. Track revisions and ensure outdated materials are removed from circulation. Maintain brand consistency across multiple companies and audiences. Company Merchandise and Branded Packages Coordinate branded merchandise needs across the organization. Build relationships with vendors and assist with sourcing, pricing, ordering, inventory, and distribution. Create and assemble new-hire packages, event materials, promotional items, marketing kits, and other branded packages. Identify creative merchandise ideas that employees, customers, and partners will be excited to receive. Monitor inventory and proactively coordinate reorders. Company Events and Engagement Help plan and coordinate team-building activities, holiday parties, customer appreciation events, sponsorships, community initiatives, and other company events. Communicate with venues, vendors, employees, leaders, and event participants. Coordinate schedules, merchandise, signage, promotional materials, activities, and event logistics. Help create an energetic, welcoming, and memorable experience for attendees. Provide hands-on support before, during, and after events. Cross-Functional Collaboration Build positive working relationships with employees and leaders across multiple departments and companies. Meet with stakeholders to understand their goals and translate their ideas into actionable marketing projects. Keep contributors engaged, informed, and accountable throughout each project. Communicate deadlines, requirements, updates, and next steps clearly. Ensure projects are completed accurately, on time, and in alignment with company objectives. Marketing Manager Support Provide creative, administrative, and organizational support to the Marketing Manager. Coordinate projects, meetings, vendor communication, departmental resources, and marketing assets. Help keep the department organized and maintain momentum across competing priorities. Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen communication, and increase engagement. Assist with additional marketing and administrative responsibilities as business needs evolve. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred. Relevant professional experience may be considered in place of a degree. Previous experience in marketing, communications, content production, event coordination, hospitality, public relations, or a related field preferred. Outgoing and personable, with the confidence to approach new people and initiate conversations. Comfortable working in a visible, people-facing role. Comfortable appearing on camera, conducting informal interviews, and directing others during content production. Strong organizational and project coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously. Strong eye for branding, visual presentation, and engaging content. Familiarity with social media platforms, digital content, and fundamental marketing practices. Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools preferred. Able to receive direction and feedback while independently taking ownership of assigned projects. What Success Looks Like Employees and stakeholders enjoy working with you and respond positively to your communication and energy. Marketing projects continue moving forward because you communicate, follow up, and maintain accountability. Content and branded materials are polished, accurate, and consistent across the organization. Company events and employee engagement initiatives are welcoming, memorable, and professionally executed.
