Event Lead - Senior Hat Stylist Part-Time | Event-Based | San Antonio, TX | In Person About Wild Pony Hat Bar Wild Pony Hat Bar isn't your typical retail job. We create custom hat experiences at corporate events, private parties, festivals, pop-ups, and some of San Antonio's coolest venues. Guests choose their hat, make it their own, and our team brings the entire experience to life. We're a growing San Antonio brand built around fashion, creativity, hospitality, and unforgettable experiences and we're looking for an Event Team Lead who's excited to be part of what we're building. The Role Event lead + stylist + host + problem-solver. You'll lead the team on-site while staying right in the action—styling hats, connecting with guests, driving sales, keeping the team moving, and making sure every event looks and feels unmistakably Wild Pony. One shift might be an intimate private party. The next could be a major corporate activation or packed festival. No two events look exactly the same. What You'll Do Lead the Wild Pony team during events and activations Style hats and help guests create something uniquely theirs Serve as the on-site contact for clients and venue partners Keep the team organized and events running smoothly Create an upbeat, welcoming guest experience Recommend products and upgrades while helping drive sales Keep merchandise stocked, organized, and event-ready Think on your feet and confidently handle the unexpected Lead setup and breakdown alongside your team Share event highlights and key takeaways with leadership You Might Be Our Person If... What We're Looking For Experience in events, hospitality, retail, sales, customer service, or leadership is a plus—but leadership can come from anywhere. Campus organizations, athletics, internships, volunteering, and other experiences absolutely count. You'll also need: Reliable transportation to event locations Ability to lift, carry, load, and unload up to 50 lbs as part of event setup and breakdown Comfort working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Strong communication and people skills Availability for events, including evenings, weekends, and select weekdays Hat styling, shaping, branding, or customization experience is a bonus. Your Schedule This is a part-time, event-based role , which means there isn't one set weekly schedule. We schedule around the availability you provide and our event calendar , making this a great fit for students or anyone looking for flexibility alongside school, another job, or other commitments. Evening and weekend availability is preferred, as these are typically our busiest event times and offer the most opportunities for scheduled hours.
