Job Description

Marketing & Event Coordinator | Events

+ Partnerships

+ Brand Experience Full-Time | San Antonio, TX | In Person

+ Local Field Work About Wild Pony Hat Bar Wild Pony Hat Bar isn't your typical retail experience—and this isn't your typical marketing job. We create custom hat experiences at corporate events, private parties, festivals, pop-ups, and some of San Antonio's coolest venues. Behind every great event is a mix of planning, relationship-building, creativity, and attention to detail—and that's where you come in. We're a growing San Antonio brand built around fashion, creativity, hospitality, and unforgettable experiences , and we're looking for someone excited to help us grow what's next. The Role Think events + marketing + partnerships + everything that brings a brand to life. As our Marketing & Event Coordinator, you'll help take events from "we're booked!" to event day while also getting Wild Pony out into the San Antonio community. You'll coordinate with clients and venues, organize event details, build relationships with hotels and local partners, attend networking opportunities, support marketing initiatives, capture content, and jump into the action at events when needed. If you're organized enough to love a good checklist but creative enough to spot an opportunity others might miss, this could be your kind of role. What You'll Do Coordinate corporate events, private parties, pop-ups, markets, and brand activations Work directly with clients, venues, vendors, and event partners Build event timelines, briefs, checklists, and run-of-show details Coordinate logistics including staffing, supplies, transportation, venue access, setup, and breakdown Attend client meetings, planning sessions, and venue walkthroughs Build relationships with hotels, resorts, event planners, concierge teams, tourism partners, and local businesses Scout new partnerships, collaborations, corporate opportunities, and community connections Represent Wild Pony at networking, hospitality, and promotional events Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and local brand initiatives Capture photos, short-form video, behind-the-scenes moments, and event content Track outreach, leads, partnerships, and follow-up activities Support the event team in creating an incredible guest experience when needed You Might Be Our Person If... You're the person who remembers the detail everyone else forgot. You can send a polished client email, walk into a networking event and start a conversation, then turn around and help bring an event to life. You're organized, creative, personable, curious, and proactive —and you like having a mix of projects instead of doing the exact same thing every day. Most importantly, you're excited by the idea of helping build something, not just maintaining what already exists. What We're Looking For Experience in marketing, events, hospitality, communications, promotions, customer service, community outreach, or sales is a plus—but we're open to where you've gained that experience. Internships, campus organizations, student leadership, hospitality jobs, volunteer work, and creative projects all count. You'll also bring: Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through Confidence communicating with clients and building new relationships An eye for capturing engaging photo and video content The ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities A proactive approach to problem-solving Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance Schedule & Work Environment This is a full-time, in-person role based in San Antonio that blends administrative event coordination with field-based marketing, community outreach, client and partner communication, and hands-on event support. Your workweek won't always look the same. Depending on the event calendar and business priorities, you may spend time at Wild Pony locations, client venues, hotels, partner businesses, networking events, and event sites throughout the San Antonio area. The role includes local travel and may occasionally require evening or weekend availability for events, activations, networking opportunities, or client needs. Because you'll also support events in the field, you should be comfortable with extended periods of standing or walking, indoor and outdoor environments, event setup and breakdown, and lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading materials up to 50 lbs. Build Your Experience. Build With Us. This role gives you hands-on experience across event planning, marketing, partnerships, client relations, hospitality, content, networking, and brand development —skills and experience you can carry with you wherever your career takes you. But we'd also love for you to build that career here . Wild Pony is growing, and this role puts you close to that growth. You'll have opportunities to learn different sides of the business, take ownership of projects, build relationships throughout San Antonio, and expand your responsibilities as your skills—and Wild Pony—continue to grow. You won't just watch a marketing strategy happen. You'll help bring it to life. Ready to Make Your Mark? If you're looking for a role where you can create, connect, organize, learn, and actually see the impact of your work , we'd love to meet you. Come help us build what's next at Wild Pony.
