Job Description

AML Ford of Prince George is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Business Development Center (BDC) Associate to join our growing dealership team. As a BDC Associate, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers who inquire online or call the dealership. Your primary responsibility is to engage with prospective customers, answer questions, build rapport, and schedule appointments for our sales team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys communicating with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is motivated by achieving goals. Automotive experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who brings a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a customer-first mindset. Responsibilities Respond promptly to internet leads and incoming phone inquiries. Build relationships with prospective customers through professional communication. Schedule and confirm appointments for the sales department. Conduct follow-up calls, text messages, and emails with unsold leads. Maintain accurate customer records in the dealership CRM system. Document all customer interactions and appointment activity. Collaborate with Sales Managers and Sales Consultants to ensure a seamless customer experience. Meet and exceed individual appointment and performance goals. QualificationsRequired High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum one year of experience in customer service, call center, telemarketing, hospitality, or a related field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable using computers, CRM software, and multi-line phone systems. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset. Reliable transportation. Professional appearance and demeanor. Preferred Automotive BDC experience. Dealership experience. Experience in a sales-focused environment. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
