Job Description

Position Summary MacGillis Law Group is seeking a motivated, organized, and creative Marketing Coordinator to support the firm's marketing, business development, and community engagement initiatives. This entry-level position is ideal for an individual looking to begin a career in professional services marketing while gaining experience across digital marketing, event coordination, community partnerships, and project management. Working closely with the Chief Marketing Officer and other Firm leaders, the Marketing Coordinator will assist with the execution of marketing strategies, management of social media platforms, coordination of promotional events, and completion of marketing projects that enhance the firm's brand and client experience. Essential Responsibilities Marketing & Communications Assist with the implementation of the firm's marketing and business development initiatives. Create, edit, and coordinate marketing materials, presentations, brochures, newsletters, and other promotional content. Support the maintenance of the firm's website and digital marketing assets. Help ensure consistent branding across all marketing and communication channels. Conduct research on marketing trends, competitors, and industry best practices. Social Media & Digital Marketing Assist in planning, creating, scheduling, and publishing content across the firm's social media platforms. Monitor social media activity and engagement, responding or escalating inquiries as appropriate. Capture photos and video content from firm events, community activities, and internal initiatives for future marketing use. Track social media metrics and prepare basic performance reports. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative content that reflects the firm's values, culture, and community involvement. Events & Community Engagement Coordinate logistics for firm-sponsored events, seminars, networking opportunities, charitable initiatives, and community partnerships. Represent MacGillis Law Group at community, promotional, and partnership events as assigned. Assist with event setup, vendor coordination, registration, and post-event follow-up. Help maintain relationships with community organizations, referral partners, and marketing vendors. Project Coordination Support the Chief Marketing Officer and Firm leadership with special marketing and business development projects. Assist in coordinating project timelines, deliverables, and communications among internal and external stakeholders. Maintain organized marketing files, calendars, inventories, and project documentation. Perform administrative and coordination duties to ensure marketing initiatives are completed efficiently and on schedule. General Responsibilities Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all aspects of the position. Demonstrate exceptional customer service when interacting with clients, vendors, community partners, and fellow employees. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Chief Marketing Officer or Firm leadership. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field preferred. Relevant internships or equivalent experience may be considered. Preferred Skills & Experience Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities with strong attention to detail. Creative mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Familiarity with major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, social media management platforms, or basic graphic design is a plus. Photography, videography, or content creation experience is desirable. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional local events.
