EVENTS & EXPERIENCES COORDINATOR
Millie Bo Peep Children's Boutique | Downtown Kenosha Part-Time | Approximately 10-15Hours/Week Starting Pay:
$16.50/Hour Millie Bo Peep is looking for a creative, organized and outgoing Events & Experiences Coordinator to help us make our boutique an experience—not just a place to shop. From family events and VIP shopping nights to product launches, community collaborations, workshops, candy experiences and little moments of magic throughout the store, we want to continue creating reasons for families to visit Millie Bo Peep, connect with our community and make memories with us. We're looking for someone who can take an idea and make it happen.WHAT YOU'LL DO
Events & Experiences Help plan and execute MBP events, workshops, launches, VIP nights and seasonal experiences Create event timelines, checklists and setup plans Coordinate supplies, activities, registrations and day-of logistics Assist with event setup, execution and cleanup Help develop creative new events and experiences throughout the year Create smaller in-store experiences that make an ordinary shopping day at Millie's feel special Help execute seasonal and holiday experiences throughout the boutique Community Collaborations Communicate and coordinate with local businesses, photographers, makers, educators, nonprofits and other community partners Research potential partners and experiences Handle event-related outreach and follow-up Help identify new opportunities for MBP to collaborate within the Downtown Kenosha community Special MBP Experiences Help bring experiences to life surrounding programs and areas such as: Millie's Magic Makers Community education workshops Girls' Nights and VIP shopping events Jellycat, NeeDoh and other special product launches Holiday and seasonal events Anniversary celebrations Community and nonprofit collaborations Brand and product collaborations Event Marketing Support Gather event details, partner information, photos, links and deadlines for our marketing team Help create simple Canva graphics, signage, QR codes and activity instructions when needed Make sure our social team has everything needed to successfully promote upcoming events This is not primarily a social media position, but you'll work closely with our marketing team. In-Store Support This is a hands-on boutique role. When you're not actively working on events and experiences, you'll help with: Customer service Gift wrapping Merchandising and displays Restocking Preparing event materials Seasonal store setup Keeping Millie Bo Peep organized, welcoming and ready for customersWE'D LOVE SOMEONE

You don't need to be a professional event planner. We're much more interested in finding someone who is creative, resourceful, organized and proactive.If you hear:
"Wouldn't it be fun if Millie's did _____?" ...we want you to be the person who starts figuring out how we could actually make it happen. We want someone who can dream with us—but also make the phone call, send the email, order the supplies, make the checklist, set up the tables and make sure everything is ready when our customers walk through the door.SCHEDULE
Approximately 10-15 hours per week , with hours varying depending on our event calendar. Most weeks will include a combination of event/experience planning and working inside the boutique. Evening and weekend availability will be required for select events. Additional hours may be available during larger events and busy seasons.COMPENSATION
Starting at $16.50/hourWHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Our goal isn't simply to host more events. We want to create more reasons for families to say: "Let's go to Millie's." The right person will help us create experiences customers look forward to, talk about, share with friends and come back for—while making sure the behind-the-scenes details are organized and taken care of. If you're someone who loves small businesses, community, creativity and making things happen, we'd love to meet you. Position Details Must be at least 18 years old Must be able to pass a background check Part-time (approximately 10-12 hours per week) Flexible schedule with weekday availability and occasional evenings or weekends for events. Must be available 1-2 Saturdays a month. Opportunity for growth as we continue expanding our events and experiences; more hours may become available.
