What You'll Own:
Sales & Growth:
You'll lead, coach and develop the sales team while creating a culture of performance and accountability. You'll monitor: Lead volume and pipeline Appointment and close rates Average ticket Revenue per salesperson Individual and company sales goals Follow-up and conversion New revenue opportunities More importantly, you'll know how to use those numbers to coach people and improve performance.Business Performance:
You'll have visibility into the P&L and help ownership understand what's driving the business. You don't need to be an accountant, but you should understand the relationship between: Revenue. Gross profit. Expenses. Labor. Job profitability. Overall company profitability. The goal isn't simply to sell more. It's to grow profitably.People & Leadership:
You'll lead employees and provide appropriate oversight and accountability for subcontractors.That includes:

You'll oversee the customer journey from the initial sales opportunity through fulfillment, completion and follow-up. You won't personally perform every function within the business. Your job is to make sure the machine works. When a customer needs management attention, a process breaks down or something isn't being handled properly, you'll have the authority and judgment to step in, solve the problem and keep things moving.Who We're Looking For:
Our ideal candidate has proven experience leading salespeople and driving revenue within an in-home, home-services or consultative sales environment.Experience could come from:
Home Improvement, Windows & Doors, Flooring, Kitchen & Bath, Cabinets & Closets, Furniture/Home Furnishings and other In-Home Services. Industry-specific experience is not required. We're much more interested in whether you know how to lead people, grow sales, understand the numbers and take ownership of a business. Ready for Your First GM Opportunity? Previous management experience is strongly preferred—but we're also willing to consider an exceptional Senior Sales Representative or Team Lead who's ready for the next step. Maybe you haven't had the General Manager title yet.
