The Director of Business Development, as an essential member of the senior management staff, is responsible for directing the development and continuous refinement of the facility's business development plan. Consulting with the Executive Director and other senior management staff, this position designs, develops, implements and directs the business development strategies, goals, philosophy, policies, procedures, and systems for Business Development and the facility.Essential Position Functions Business Development:
Direct the development and continuous refinement of the facility's comprehensive business development plan within the scope of the changing healthcare environment. Consult with ED in overseeing, developing and implementing facility business development strategies. Maintain and develop key business development accounts and respond to all business development opportunities.Market Knowledge:
Maintain current awareness of changes in the industry through self- education, peer education and professional and community involvement for the betterment of this position and the hospital.Department Management:
Maintain business records and statistics including the preparation of business development opportunities. Manage and monitor team and generate reports as needed to track business development activity. Provide direction, guidance, training and support to Business Development team, identify team strengths and weaknesses and implement measures to improve customer service.Education:
Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business administration, or related behavioral health area. Or equivalent four + years of work experience.Experience:
A minimum of five (5) years experience in a healthcare business development management position with extensive business development experience resulting in measurable results.ABHC Offers:
