Motion Control / Electronics Manufacturing Position Overview A growing company in the motion control and electronics manufacturing industry is seeking a driven and analytical Regional Sales Manager . This role is responsible for developing regional sales strategies, managing channel partners, and working cross-functionally with engineering, production, and leadership teams to deliver tailored solutions to customers. This position involves both technical and commercial engagement, requiring frequent interaction with customers via virtual and in-person meetings. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute regional business plans, including market analysis, competitive positioning, and revenue forecasting Analyze sales data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; implement strategies to improve performance Manage and evaluate distributor and manufacturer representative networks, including contracts, performance, and territory alignment Provide strategic input on pricing, channel management, and resource allocation across the region Serve as a primary liaison between customers and internal teams, including senior leadership Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support integration of motion control solutions Deliver technical and commercial training to internal teams, distributors, and partners Represent the organization at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings Travel within assigned territories (including international travel) up to approximately 50% Utilize CRM, ERP, and productivity tools to manage sales activities and reporting Perform additional duties as assigned Required Qualifications Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical and business concepts clearly Experience in a Regional Sales Manager or similar technical sales role Proven ability to analyze data and drive strategic sales decisions Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications Experience in motion control, automation, or mechatronics Background in technical sales within manufacturing or engineering environments Education Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field required Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the workday Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. Work Schedule Full-time, Monday-Friday Based at a Camarillo, CA manufacturing facility Additional hours may be required based on business needs Travel required up to 50% Compliance Requirement This position is subject to U.S. export control regulations (ITAR) . Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Lawful Permanent Residents . Compensation $90,000 - $125,000 annually Compensation is based on experience, skills, and market considerations.
