Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Hotel Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management and sales, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and enhancing guest experiences. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to effectively manage relationships with clients and team members alike. As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in promoting our hotel services, maximizing occupancy rates, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability. Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other potential partners. Oversee the daily operations of the sales department, including supervising team members and ensuring high levels of customer service. Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials that highlight hotel offerings. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning within the hospitality sector. Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and effectively while enhancing overall guest satisfaction. Coordinate with various departments such as front desk, housekeeping, and human resources to ensure seamless operations. Monitor budget performance and assist in financial planning related to sales initiatives. Participate in night audits as necessary to ensure accurate reporting of sales activities. Skills Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse clientele. Proven experience in supervising teams within a hotel or resort environment. Strong background in hospitality management, including knowledge of revenue management principles. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Familiarity with hotel management systems and front desk operations. Proficient in budgeting processes related to hotel sales activities. Excellent leadership qualities that inspire team collaboration and motivation. Knowledge of multi-line phone systems and professional phone etiquette is essential for effective communication.
