Job Description
Our Produce distribution and processing company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Professional to join our team. As Director of Sales you will be responsible for improving and implementing existing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share. Responsibilities Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that achieve sales goals & KPIs. Build and maintain long lasting strong relationships with customers Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify marketplace opportunities Collaborate with shipping, quality, safety, procurement, accounting and other departments to ensure optimal customer satisfaction Attend targeted trade shows Coaching, training, and mentoring a team of sales reps Mine, qualify, and develop new business Qualifications 5+ years of Produce Sales experience in foodservice or retail Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Proficient computer skills including MS word, Powerpoint, Excel, CRM Data driven and analytical mindset
