As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead, develop, and elevate our sales team while driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction. Position Overview The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for leading day-to-day sales operations, coaching and mentoring sales professionals, and ensuring the dealership consistently achieves and exceeds sales goals. This role will work closely with dealership leadership to execute sales strategies, improve team performance, and deliver an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with a proven track record in automotive sales management, strong business acumen, and the ability to motivate teams to achieve exceptional results. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a high-performing sales team focused on achieving revenue and profitability goals. Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales performance through coaching, accountability, and strategic planning. Monitor key sales metrics including units sold, gross profit, lead conversion, and customer satisfaction. Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions. Support sales staff with deal structuring, negotiations, and closing opportunities. Ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process. Resolve escalated customer concerns and maintain long-term customer relationships. Partner with Finance, BDC, Marketing, and dealership leadership to maximize sales opportunities. Analyze sales trends, inventory performance, and market conditions to identify growth opportunities. Maintain compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and regulatory requirements. Participate in dealership events, promotions, and community engagement activities. Requirements Experience & Education 5+ years of automotive sales experience. 3+ years of sales management or leadership experience. Proven success leading sales teams and consistently achieving sales targets. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive Management, or a related field preferred. Skills & Qualifications Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development abilities. Demonstrated success managing sales performance and driving revenue growth. Excellent negotiation, closing, and customer relationship management skills. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales reports and performance metrics. Experience utilizing CRM systems and dealership management software. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Licenses & Certifications Valid California Driver's License with an acceptable driving record. California Vehicle Sales License required. Must meet dealership insurance requirements.
