Scope of Responsibility The Senior Manager of Sales Ops is responsible for ensuring strategic alignment between sales goals and the sales framework, processes, and support mechanisms that cabi utilizes to achieve those goals. This person plays a vital role in the success of a sales organization by working with the sales team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. As the Field Strategy liaison within our Analytics team, the Sales Ops role generates data-driven insights, forecasts strategy plans, and makes sure that all of the necessary systems are in place. In addition to sales operations responsibilities, this role takes ownership of data architecture for new and supplemental data sources, designing and maintaining the data models, pipelines, and structures needed to bring incremental data into our analytics and reporting capabilities. Core data tables and primary infrastructure remain owned by our engineering team; this role focuses on extending that foundation with new sources that directly support sales and field strategy insights. They are also fluent in the use of AI tools to enhance productivity, automate routine analysis, and drive faster, more informed decision-making across the sales organization.
Role Requirements:
Review performance of company KPI targets to date and identify significant areas of opportunity within the sub-components of those key targets. Primary focus will tie to KPIs within the Sales and Community teams. Business Intelligence and Oversight. Design and maintain scalable data architecture for new and supplemental data sources, including data models, schemas, and pipelines to extend our core data infrastructure and ensure clean, reliable data flows into sales, CRM, and analytics platforms. Collaborate with the engineering team on data governance standards and documentation practices for new data sources, ensuring alignment with existing conventions and source-of-truth datasets managed by engineering. Aid our field teams in how to best optimize technology to support sales processes - examples include improved support and service workflows; efficient knowledge transfer via back-office tools and training content; and sales process Optimizations. Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, surface insights, and streamline reporting workflows — including the use of AI-assisted platforms for sales forecasting, content generation, and operational efficiency. Evaluate and recommend new AI capabilities relevant to the sales and field strategy function as the landscape evolves. Define and implement processes, at scale, to improve the efficiency and quality of the Stylist experience. Leverage cohort analysis to identify where universal messaging is appropriate versus opportunities for customized aids/guidance targeted towards segmented groups. Collaborate with senior management on seasonal and monthly planning for sales targets, as well as promotion and incentive schedules. Consistently review core bonus and compensation programs to ensure ongoing alignment between reward behaviors/values and priority company objectives. Provide daily, weekly and monthly sales forecasting - maintain, update, and validate models with the latest internal and external data to continually improve accuracy. Oversee projects that seek to answer business questions at the request of cross-functional partners. Pursue lead generation opportunities that expand the Stylist and home office audience reach. Partner with merchandising team on deepening seasonal sell-through through unique calls to action, repetition of key product training concepts, and data analysis that highlights unique, actionable behaviors within our existing consumer base. Partner with training team on (a) strengthening training content and (b) increasing engagement/adoption of the tools that deliver that content. Be a collaborative, willing partner across all cross-functional teams and an exceptional project manager for priority sales-based initiatives.
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 10 years' experience in a related field with a demonstrated history of improving sales productivity, retention by providing data-driven insights Data-driven mind-set with proven experience utilizing metrics & insights as tools for informed decision-making. A strong team player who supports their team and embraces ownership, accountability, and responsibility for the team's work. Analytical problem solver comfortable tackling ambiguous, complex opportunities and driving outcomes Expertise with financial modeling skills, including proficiency in Excel Expertise with SQL, Tableau, and other Business Intelligence and Data Visualization tools strongly desired
