We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team at Mr. Electric, an electrical service company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership within the home service industry, with a focus on managing service professionals to drive sales and significantly increase revenue. This role requires strategic thinking, exceptional leadership, and a passion for building strong customer relationships to ensure long-term business growth.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of service professionals to maximize sales performance and productivity. Set individual and team sales targets, track performance, and adjust strategies to meet or exceed goals. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for business growth and areas for improvement. Collaborate with marketing and customer service teams to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns and client feedback. Oversee hiring, training, and coaching of sales representatives and technicians to ensure a high-performing team. Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management. Represent the company at industry events, shows, and networking opportunities to promote services. Ensure compliance with corporate policies, industry standards, and safety regulations in all sales activities. Contact inbound and outbound leads promptly by phone, text, and email. Qualify potential customers and identify their service needs. Schedule appointments for technicians and estimators. Follow up on unsold estimates and open opportunities. Coordinate with dispatchers, technicians, and management to ensure smooth customer service.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in home service or related industry. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide service professionals. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to analyze sales metrics and market trends to inform strategic decisions. Willingness to travel as needed to attend industry events.
