Join a dealership team where your leadership and customer service skills help drive success! We're currently seeking a motivated and organized Business Development Manager (BDM) to oversee customer engagement efforts and lead our Business Development Center (BDC) operations. If you're passionate about delivering excellent guest experiences, coaching a team, and growing dealership business — we want to meet you!
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the Business Development Center (BDC) Handle inbound and outbound customer communications via phone, internet, and chat Generate appointments for both sales and service departments Follow up with unsold showroom traffic, missed service opportunities, and internet leads Develop and maintain effective lead management processes within the dealership's CRM system Track, analyze, and report on appointment conversions and lead activity Collaborate with management, sales, and service teams to meet department goals Train, coach, and mentor BDC agents to maintain strong performance and customer service standards Support marketing campaigns and retention initiatives to increase customer engagement
Requirements:
Previous experience in a dealership BDC, internet sales, or customer service leadership role preferred Excellent phone, email, and written communication skills Strong leadership, coaching, and team management abilities Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking skills Experience with CRM systems (DealerSocket, VinSolutions, or similar) is a plus Positive, goal-driven attitude with a focus on team success Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances Authorized to work in the United States
