Job Description
BDC MANAGER
Stamford, CT We are looking for an experienced, driven Automotive BDC Manager who can take ownership of the department, lead from the front, and produce results. This is NOT an entry-level management position. We need a proven automotive BDC professional who understands that running a successful BDC is about more than managing leads—it is about managing people, processes, accountability, appointments, show rates, sold rates, and ultimately driving dealership volume.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Candidates must have: Strong proficiency with CDK Elead CRM Strong proficiency with Mastermind Previous automotive dealership BDC management or senior BDC experience Proven ability to hire, train, coach and hold BDC representatives accountable Strong understanding of internet lead management Experience managing inbound and outbound call activity Excellent phone, text and email communication skills Ability to establish and enforce proper CRM processes Experience tracking appointments set, confirmed, shown and sold Strong knowledge of unsold follow-up and long-term lead management Experience with Mastermind equity mining, service-lane opportunities, lease maturities and ownership-cycle campaigns Ability to analyze BDC performance and identify where opportunities are being lost Strong organizational and leadership skillsWHAT YOU'LL DO
The BDC Manager will be responsible for the entire BDC operation , including: Manage, train and develop the BDC team Monitor all new and pre-owned internet leads Ensure fast and consistent fresh-lead response Manage inbound and outbound phone opportunities Set standards for appointment setting and confirmation Track appointments set, confirmed, shown and sold Manage no-show recovery Oversee unsold showroom follow-up Develop lease maturity and retention campaigns Drive Mastermind prospecting and equity mining Develop service-to-sales opportunities Re-engage previous customers and lost leads Build and execute outbound campaigns Audit Elead CRM activity and documentation Review calls, texts and emails for quality Train representatives on objection handling and appointment conversion Provide daily performance reporting to management Work directly with sales management to maximize every opportunityWE NEED A LEADER AND A PRODUCER
We are not looking for someone who sits behind a desk and simply watches reports. We want a manager who will get on the phones, work leads, coach the team and lead by example. You should understand how to build rapport, overcome objections, create urgency and convert opportunities into qualified showroom traffic . You will be expected to know your numbers every day: lead response, contacts, appointments, confirmations, shows, sold customers and closing percentages. If something is falling through the cracks, you own it and fix it.WHAT WE OFFER
