Delamar Hotel - NEW hotel located in Westport,CT is seeking a Sales Manager to join its growing team. Job Description As a Sales Manager with Delamar Hotels, you will play a key role in driving revenue and fostering strategic partnerships for our luxury property. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and nurturing business opportunities that align with our brand's commitment to service excellence and bespoke guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify, qualify, and secure new business across assigned market segments (e.g., corporate, group, leisure, etc.) Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, travel partners, meeting planners, and local businesses Conduct site inspections, sales calls, trade shows, and client entertainment to drive interest and bookings Collaborate with revenue, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of group and VIP stays Prepare and deliver proposals, contracts, and presentations that reflect the elevated standards of our brand Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales goals, revenue targets, and KPIs Maintain detailed records of client interactions, bookings, and pipeline using CRM systems Stay informed about competitor activity, market trends, and luxury hospitality best practices Represent the hotel at industry events and networking functions to elevate brand visibility
Qualifications:
Minimum 2-4 years of sales experience in a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills High level of professionalism, poise, and emotional intelligence Proficiency in CRM software and hotel systems (Delphi, Opera, etc.) preferred Passion for luxury travel, exceptional guest service, and curated experiences Availability to work flexible hours, travel for sales calls and events, as needed
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
