Position Overview We are seeking a driven, customer-focused sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. This role is central to growing our store's revenue, building lasting customer relationships, and consistently exceeding sales targets. Prior rent-to-own sales experience is required — you understand the lease-purchase model, the customer conversations it demands, and how to grow an account base within it. Key Responsibilities Drive store revenue by converting walk-in traffic, phone inquiries, and referrals into new lease-purchase agreements Present rent-to-own terms, payment options, and product benefits clearly and accurately so customers can make informed decisions Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse clientele, encouraging renewals, upgrades, and repeat business Manage an active account base: follow up on payments, resolve customer concerns, and support retention efforts Generate new business through proactive outreach, community engagement, and local marketing initiatives Consistently meet and exceed individual and store-level sales metrics Deliver product to customer homes, complete installations and setup, and perform pickups as needed Maintain accurate agreements, customer records, and merchandise documentation Provide outstanding service that earns customer satisfaction, loyalty, and referrals Required Qualifications Rent-to-own sales experience (required) — hands-on experience in a lease-purchase or rent-to-own retail environment 4+ years in sales or customer service with a proven record of meeting or exceeding targets 4+ years of driving experience with a valid driver's license and clean driving record Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills Self-motivated and able to work independently while supporting a team Comfortable lifting and moving furniture, appliances, and electronics Able to work a 5-day schedule including Saturdays Preferred Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish) to better serve our diverse customer base Experience with account management, collections, or payment follow-up Familiarity with point-of-sale or rent-to-own agreement software Benefits 401(k) with company matching Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Employee purchase discount program Consistent 5-day work week — never open Sundays Casual, supportive team environment with room to grow Why Join Us Rent-to-own is a relationship business.
