Job Description

The Director of Business Development & Sales will lead enterprise growth initiatives for Home Health and Private Duty Nursing services. This executive role drives census and revenue growth expands referral and payer relationships, and builds high-performing sales teams across multiple markets, ensuring alignment with clinical quality and operational capacity. This role is ideal for a strategic hands-on leader with a demonstrated track record of success, strong market relationships, and the ability to inspire high performance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive sales and growth strategies for Home Health and Private Duty Nursing. Build, maintain, and strengthen referral relationships with hospitals, SNFs, physicians, ALFs, and community partners. Identify and pursue new market opportunities and service line expansions. Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to align growth strategies with patient care quality and operational capacity. Oversee revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and sales analytics to drive informed business decisions. Ensure all sales and business development activities comply with federal, state, and organizational healthcare regulations. Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing sales teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred. Minimum of 4 years in business development or sales leadership within Home Health, Private Duty, Hospice, or post-acute healthcare. Proven track record of driving census and revenue growth. Deep knowledge of referral networks, payer models, and healthcare compliance. Strong strategic thinking, communication, and relationship-building skills.
