Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic Area Director of Sales to lead the commercial strategy for a unique three-hotel, multi-state Spark by Hilton portfolio spanning Bentonville, Arkansas , Sarasota, Florida , and Destin, Florida . Together, these hotels represent a $13.6 million revenue portfolio , each serving distinctly different demand drivers. You'll develop and execute sales strategies that capitalize on corporate and vendor business in Bentonville while driving leisure, group, and transient demand across Florida's Gulf Coast markets. This role reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing and operates as one of Magna Hospitality Group's Area Directors of Sales, partnering with senior leadership to maximize revenue performance across the portfolio. What You'll Do Develop and execute the annual sales and marketing strategy for all three hotels. Drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new corporate, negotiated, group, leisure, and vendor business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts across multiple geographic markets. Develop accurate revenue forecasts, budgets, and sales action plans. Partner closely with Revenue Management to optimize pricing strategies and maximize market share. Travel regularly between Arkansas and Florida to maintain a visible presence with hotel teams, customers, and community partners. Represent the portfolio at regional and national trade shows, industry events, and sales missions. Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and business performance to identify opportunities for continued growth. Collaborate with hotel leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences that strengthen client relationships and repeat business. What We're Looking For Five or more years of progressive hotel sales experience. Minimum two years as a Director of Sales or in a multi-property sales leadership role. Proven success developing corporate, negotiated, leisure, and group business. Experience managing multiple hotels, diverse markets, or geographically dispersed territories preferred. Strong forecasting, budgeting, analytical, and presentation skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. Comfortable managing a remote, multi-market territory with frequent air travel. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively between Arkansas and Florida.
