  • LATAM
  • is responsible for leading, developing, and executing the commercial strategy for the assigned country or region within the LATAM region (Latin America) within the automotive market.
It also oversees the full sales cycle, market expansion initiatives, and volume growth objectives. Additionally, it serves as the primary driver of brand positioning, customer engagement, and competitiveness in the region, ensuring alignment with global and regional corporate goals. This position requires a deep understanding of the automotive ecosystem (OEMs, distributors, and fleet customers), or the ability to learn it quickly; exceptional negotiation skills; high resilience and tolerance for frustration; and the ability to analyze market trends to make strategic decisions that maximize volume, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Essential Functions
  • + Share client's vision and strategic guidance with distributors in Central and South America and collaborate with them to develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives Negotiation and contract management (Distributor Agreement review and compliance).
+ Negotiate and manage the yearly sales Business Plan with distributors, leveraging price structure and competitiveness to drive whole/retail sales and achieve profit targets. Forecasting, budgeting, and reporting (Sales and order forecast, Market analysis report, Country situational report). + Analyze and manage each distributor's monthly sales and marketing programs, proactively identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions. + Manage distributor orders, sales, and stock to maintain proper inventory levels, ensuring product availability and timely delivery to customers. + Analyze each country's market demand by brand and segment, leveraging insights to maximize sales and optimize product mix. + Maintain accurate demand plans to enable effective production planning and inventory management. + Monitor and analyze each country's retail and fleet sales, identifying trends and opportunities to optimize sales plans and improve performance. + Keep abreast of market and political situations, assessing impact on business and taking proactive steps to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities. + Track and analyze competitors' sales trends to keep the brand competitive and proactively identify opportunities for growth. + All other tasks or duties as assigned.
  • Skills and Qualifications
  • + Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or a related field + 3+ years of relevant sales experience within LATAM countries + Bilingual in English and Spanish + Proven experience managing or leading multi-country markets + Multilingual capabilities are a plus + Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI + Availability to travel; this position requires 15-25% travel •
