The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing new business, maintaining key client relationships, managing the sales pipeline, and working closely with hotel leadership and revenue management to maximize occupancy, ADR, and overall hotel revenue. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the hotel's sales strategy. Prospect and secure corporate, group, association, sports, and local business. Manage existing accounts and develop new client relationships. Respond to leads, prepare proposals, negotiate rates, and execute contracts. Maintain accurate sales activity, accounts, and opportunities in the hotel's CRM. Manage RFPs and negotiated corporate accounts. Work closely with Revenue Management on pricing, need dates, pace, and market opportunities. Coordinate group business with hotel Operations and Food & Beverage teams. Track production and provide regular sales forecasts and reports. Participate in community networking and local business development. What We're Looking For Hotel sales experience is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, comfortable prospecting for new business, and understands both relationship selling and the numbers behind hotel sales. Experience with IHG, Delphi, Opera, Meeting Broker, Agency360/Demand360, or similar hotel systems is a plus. This is a hands-on sales leadership position for someone who enjoys building relationships, finding new business, and directly contributing to the success of the hotel.
