Job Description
- DESCRIPTION
- The
- Senior Director, New Business Development
- will serve as a primary growth driver for BAS, responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new client relationships across emerging brands, new verticals, and underpenetrated channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- New Business Development
- + Build and maintain a robust pipeline of net-new business opportunities for BAS.
- Market & Opportunity Development
- + Research emerging brands, high-growth companies, channel expansion initiatives, and industry trends to uncover new revenue opportunities.
- Solution Consulting
- + Serve as a consultative seller capable of matching client business challenges to BAS capabilities.
- Growth Channel Expansion
- Initial areas of focus include: + DIY & Home Improvement + Mobile Carriers & Connectivity + Emerging Consumer Electronics Brands Additional growth channels may be added over time based on market opportunity and strategic priorities.
- Pipeline & Revenue Management
- + Manage opportunity progression from prospect identification through contract execution and client handoff. + Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and opportunity tracking. + Collaborate with leadership on pricing, financial modeling, proposal development, and commercial strategy. + Consistently deliver against pipeline, revenue, and growth objectives.
- Industry Representation
- + Represent BAS at industry conferences, trade shows, client events, and networking forums. + Develop relationships with influencers, industry leaders, consultants, and strategic partners. + Serve as a visible ambassador for BAS and Acosta Group within targeted industries.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education Requirements
- + Bachelor's Degree required. + MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Work Experience Requirements
- + 8+ years of successful business development, sales, channel development, or new business acquisition experience.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- + Proven hunter mentality with strong prospecting and relationship development skills.
