Job Description

23rd June, 2026 RSL Queensland is a dynamic, not-for-profit organisation delivering innovative programs and initiatives that support veterans and their families. Funding our vital work is the Dream Home Art Union, proudly RSL Queensland - Australia's largest and most successful not-for-profit prize home lottery. And most importantly, you'll be making a real difference in veterans' and their families' lives. As our lottery's proud custodian, the Lotteries department is thrilled to announce this pivotal role, Manager Sales & Service, to lead change and maturity uplift for sales capabilities, enabling new and existing products and channels maturing the team's customer focus, and leveraging data insights. Reporting to our Senior Manager - Vendor Manager in our Lotteries Commercial Operations team, key responsibilities include: Develop and deliver an annual sales channel plan that aligns with the business plan and outlines the strategy for achieving revenue targets. Develop and manage annual business development strategy, sales budget, forecast and reporting to drive revenue growth. Lead and manage the sales, service and retention team performance, training, and development. Daily interactions with vendors and develop productive relationships to operate sales and service channels and develop new channels. Deliver the customer satisfaction program across all channels and partner with other subject matter experts in the business to create best in class processes to maximise positive customer outcomes, engagement and retention. Lead the development of knowledge management systems that documents sales and service processes and procedures. What you'll bring: Mandatory Ability to manage multiple channels and execute relevant strategies. Strong personal selling experience and ability to lead sales and service teams. Demonstrated ability to meet annual sales targets through relationship management of outsourced sales teams. Ability to gather and assess large volumes of data, gain relevant insight and suggest viable initiatives and actions as a result. Time management and organisational skills to balance multiple projects. Perform well under pressure in a dynamic environment. Preferred Demonstrated experience in managing B2B2C outsourced sales teams, on a national scale. Experience in Lotteries or gaming, or a comparable discretionary consumer/subscription product. Experience in managing and/or understanding of outsourced contact centre operations (Inbound calls and emails). Understanding of subscription-based revenue model. To be competitive for this opportunity, you'll offer: 7+ years demonstrated Consumer Sales and Service Channel experience. 7-10+ years industry experience or significant supervisory role managing multiple sales and service channel stakeholders. Tertiary qualifications in Sales, Business, Marketing or related discipline. Strong data analysis capabilities with demonstrated ability improving sales channels through data led insights.
