Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Parts Sales Manager to lead our parts sales operations and drive growth within our automotive parts and accessories division. In this role, you will oversee the entire parts sales process, manage supplier relationships, coordinate inventory management, and ensure exceptional customer service. Your expertise in supply chain management, automotive diagnostics, and parts sourcing will be essential to optimize our parts inventory and meet the demands of our dealership network. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence operational efficiency and elevate customer satisfaction through strategic leadership and innovative solutions. Responsibilities Lead the parts sales team to achieve sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, and oversee procurement processes to ensure competitive sourcing of automotive parts and accessories. Oversee inventory control, warehouse management, and logistics inventory management systems to maintain optimal stock levels. Coordinate demand planning, order management, and parts sourcing activities to meet dealership needs efficiently. Utilize automotive diagnostics knowledge and ERP systems to accurately track parts availability, order status, and vehicle systems compatibility. Implement and maintain inventory management systems such as CMMS or AS400 for seamless parts administration and data entry accuracy. Collaborate with internal teams on internal communication regarding procurement, shipping & receiving, and parts distribution processes. Monitor pricing strategies, demand trends, and supply chain dynamics to optimize profitability while ensuring timely delivery of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts. Support dealership service departments by providing expert advice on automotive repair, auto body repair, HVAC components, and other vehicle systems. Ensure compliance with safety standards related to warehouse experience, forklift operation, shipping & receiving procedures, and warehouse safety protocols. Skills Extensive knowledge of automotive parts management, sourcing strategies, and inventory control techniques. Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement management, and logistics inventory management. Strong negotiation skills with a focus on pricing strategies and supplier management experience. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools, vehicle systems, OEM parts specifications, and auto body repair processes. Proficiency in ERP systems such as AS400 or similar inventory management systems; experience with CMMS is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for data analysis, reporting, and internal communication purposes. Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair processes is highly desirable. Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments including sales, procurement, logistics, and customer service teams. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts safely; certification preferred but not mandatory.
