Job Description

Territory Sales Manager
  • Construction Equipment Star Equipment Ltd | Waterloo, IA (Blackhawk, Grundy & Tama Counties) Star Equipment Ltd is a family-owned Iowa construction equipment dealer serving contractors since 1968.
We represent some of the strongest brands in the industry and operate in a territory with major growth opportunity. We are looking for a driven, competitive Territory Sales Manager who wants to own a market, build share, and earn without limits. This is a performance-based sales role with an established book of business, strong product lines, and uncapped earning potential for someone ready to take territory dominance seriously.
  • Your Mission You are here to grow existing accounts and win new territory. Your success will be measured by:
  • Market share growth in Blackhawk, Grundy, and Tama Counties
  • New account acquisition
  • Competitive displacement
  • Revenue and equipment penetration
  • Rental and whole-goods growth You will actively target contractors, municipalities, and industrial customers, positioning Star Equipment as their primary supplier and expanding our footprint against competitors.
  • What You'll Sell You will represent a powerful lineup of premium equipment brands including: Manitou Gehl Takeuchi Husqvarna Multiquip and more This is a full-line sales role across construction, industrial, rental, and municipal markets.
  • What We're Looking For We want hunters and closers — not order takers.
  • Proven success in outside sales (construction or equipment sales strongly preferred)
  • Strong competitive drive and desire to build a dominant territory
  • Ability to open doors, win new customers, and grow share
  • Clean driving record and ability to obtain a CDL (existing cdl holders a plus)
  • Self-starter who thrives in a performance-based compensation environment
  • Compensation & Tools You will be given everything you need to win — and paid for doing it.
