full-time We're looking for a thoughtful, driven Growth & Partnerships Manager to help grow Oak & Oscar. Based in Chicago, this role is focused on growing Oak & Oscar, deepening engagement within our Owner community, and developing thoughtful partnerships that create meaningful experiences, collaborations, and long-term growth. Oak & Oscar is an independent watch brand based in Chicago, focused on thoughtful design, quality materials, and creating products meant to be worn and enjoyed every day. Our community isn't a mailing list. It's a group of people who care about what they wear on their wrist and why. Your job is to grow that community

  • and help more people find their way into it.

We aren't looking for someone to manage a marketing calendar. We're looking for someone who can create momentum. Bonus points if you've helped grow a small or emerging brand. What you'll do: Develop and execute ideas that introduce future Owners to Oak & Oscar Identify and develop partnerships with brands, organizations, and communities that align with Oak & Oscar's values and aesthetic Explore and execute collaboration opportunities, special projects, and co-branded products with aligned partners Grow and strengthen the Oak & Oscar Owner community through events, outreach, HQ visits, and ongoing relationship building. Follow up after purchases, share news, and make Owners feel seen Plan and represent the brand at events and shows (e.g., Windup, fly fishing shows, enthusiasts events) Host visitors at our Chicago HQ, creating a welcoming and memorable brand experience Contribute ideas for content and storytelling while bringing insights back to the team about what Owners are responding to and where opportunities exist Maintain and selectively grow a small number of aligned retail relationships Who we're looking for: Proactive and self-directed

  • you genuinely enjoy connecting with people Naturally good at making people feel remembered and valued Good taste and judgment
  • you understand what fits the brand and what doesn't An understanding of how brands grow today (events, community, partnerships, and content
  • not just paid ads) Comfortable representing the brand in person and building genuine relationships over time Can tell a story about a product without sounding like a pitch Happy in a small team where there's no playbook
