Position Overview The Manager in Training (MIT) program is designed to develop future leaders within our sales organization. This hands-on opportunity provides valuable experience in sales leadership, customer relationship management, business development, and team leadership while preparing you for advancement into management roles. What You'll Do Sales & Customer Development Build and maintain strong relationships with Store Managers and key customer accounts Identify new business opportunities and grow market share Convert competitor business and expand existing accounts Negotiate pricing and prepare sales agreements Ensure accounts are maintained according to company policies and standards Leadership & Management Development Gain hands-on experience managing projects and priorities Analyze business challenges and implement effective solutions Participate in ongoing leadership and professional development training Assist with team development, coaching, and performance management Learn all aspects of sales and operational leadership Team Collaboration Partner with multiple departments to achieve business goals Represent Pepsi MidAmerica professionally within the community Build strong working relationships with customers and fellow team members Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of management experience required Bachelor's Degree preferred Equivalent experience may be considered in place of a degree Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships Self-motivated with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed
