Job Description

The Steve Napleton Automotive Group has been a cornerstone of the automotive industry since 1931, founded on the principles of hard work and exceptional customer service. With a legacy that spans generations, we operate nine dealerships across the Chicagoland area, emphasizing the importance of our people as our greatest asset. We are currently looking for a New Car Sales Manager for our Palatine Mazda location. He or she has the ability to lead, mentor, guide, coach, and work with various types of personalities with professionalism and respect. The New Car Sales Manager has the ability and experience in desking and closing deals, motivating sales teams, controlling inventory, appraising vehicles, and acquiring vehicles.
New Car Sales Manager Responsibilities:
Directs the sales activities of the dealership by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all salespeople Directs sales staffing and training in ways that will enhance the development and control of sales programs Monitors salesperson productivity and performance Maintains and monitors manufacturer standards for customer satisfaction at or above dealership specified standards Attends and monitors the product and sales training courses as required by dealership and/or manufacturer Orders/acquires new- and used-vehicle inventory Administers and monitors factory-sponsored programs Serves as liaison between sales department and other departments Maintains a professional appearance Attends management meetings Performs other duties as assigned Ensures that the same high quality level of service provided to outside customers is also provided to internal dealership customers Handles customer complaints immediately and according to the dealership's guidelines Handles customer complaints or escalates when necessary Maintains high customer satisfaction standards New Car Sales Manager qualifications: Able to hold yourself accountable and achieve goals with limited direct supervision Import experience An impressive work ethic Professional appearance Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment Strong communication, presentation and writing skills Demonstrated ability to close sales Negotiation expertise Valid driver's license

$140,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
