Building on an already successful and rapidly growing pickleball program, the Director will lead the next chapter of our evolution as we prepare to open our new state-of-the-art, eight-court indoor pickleball facility in 2026. This is far more than a teaching position—it is a leadership role for a dynamic professional who can inspire a team, create innovative programming, cultivate an exceptional member experience, and establish Marcus Lewis Racquet Club as the premier destination for pickleball in the region. Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for all aspects of the pickleball department and daily operations.
- Develop innovative instructional and recreational programming for adults, juniors, beginners, and competitive players.
- Recruit, mentor, supervise, and inspire a high-performing team of pickleball professionals while fostering a culture of excellence.
- Deliver an exceptional member experience through outstanding customer service, visibility, engagement, and relationship building.
- Drive membership growth, player engagement, retention, and new player acquisition.
- Organize and oversee leagues, tournaments, clinics, social events, and other special programming.
- Collaborate with club leadership on budgeting, scheduling, staffing, marketing, and long-term strategic planning.
- Represent Marcus Lewis Racquet Club professionally within the local and regional pickleball community.
- Play an instrumental role in the successful launch and continued growth of our new indoor pickleball facility. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven leadership experience in pickleball, racquet sports, or club management.
- Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Experience designing and implementing successful instructional and social programming.
- A passion for developing staff and cultivating a positive, high-performance team culture.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable member experiences.
