Our Dealership is looking for an experienced BDC Manager to lead our Business Development Center sales team and help deliver an exceptional experience to every customer who calls, texts, or emails our dealerships. As BDC Manager, you'll lead, coach, and support a team of BDC Agents while ensuring our communication, follow-up, and customer-service standards are consistently met. You'll be a hands-on leader who can jump in when needed, motivate a team, solve problems quickly, and keep the BDC running smoothly in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year What You'll Do Lead, coach, train, and motivate our BDC Agent team. Ensure every incoming call is answered promptly, professionally, and courteously. Make sure calls are accurately directed to the appropriate dealership and department. Ensure 100% utilization of call scripts and established BDC processes. Ensure all Sales and Service calls are accurately entered and tracked. Build schedules that provide consistent phone coverage. Manage payroll reporting for BDC Agents. Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching and development. Conduct weekly team meetings focused on phone, email, and customer-engagement techniques. Ensure BDC Agents have strong working knowledge of dealership hours, directions, staff, management, vehicle manufacturers, body styles, and other essential information. Provide daily phone coverage and step in as backup support for the team. Communicate BDC performance and results with dealership General Managers and leadership. Assist with interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new BDC Agents in partnership with the BDC Director. Identify and report situations that could impact the safety, integrity, or well-being of our customers, employees, or dealerships. Promote a professional, positive, respectful workplace. Take on additional responsibilities as needed. Willing to participate in ongoing training and professional development. Skills & Experience Previous Automotive BDC Sales, call center, automotive, customer service, and team-management. Exceptional customer-service and communication skills. Strong leadership, coaching, and training abilities. Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing.
